TRADING STANDARDS WALES //

Following the success of our rebranding of tradingstandardswales.org.uk (the National consumer advice organisation) we were proud to be asked to develop and implement a new visual identity for the Wales Illegal Money Lending Unit.

The WIMLU was set up towards the end of 2007 and is now one of nine regional Trading Standards led teams across Wales, Scotland and England, funded by the Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR).

A team of ten specialist staff have been employed from a variety of specialist surveillance and financial investigation backgrounds, including Trading Standards, ex-police officers and a specialist Client Liaison Officer (Financial Inclusion & witness/victim support).

The brief was to devise a striking and inclusive campaign, that would convey clearly the objectives of the unit, across print, advertising, exhibition, direct mail and the web across wales bilingually.
